It was my privilege to join Kardinya Primary School mid-2022, winning the
position permanently in April of 2023. The 2024 school year marks my
30th year in education, and my 15th in school leadership. I have two
children- Maddy 25 and James 2, who have both attended school in public
education before embarking on university degrees at UWA. My husband is
a secondary school teacher.
I firmly believe that every child should be given the opportunity to learn in
an orderly and innovative environment. The partnership between home and
school plays a key role in building confidence and value in learning, as we
empower our students to be active and engaged citizens for the future.
The School Board plays an important role in strengthening this partnership.
I look forward to working with our Kardinya Primary School Board to build
on our school’s existing strengths as we continue our school’s
improvement journey, always ‘Learning for Life.’
