At Kardinya Primary School, we believe that education is a partnership between our team of educators and a child’s most important teachers — their parents.
Quality communication is our goal; therefore, the school acknowledges the role of parents as joint partners and welcomes your involvement. We aim to communicate effectively with everyone in our community, and therefore we use a range of strategies and mediums to suit the different needs and preferences of parents, caregivers and community members.
Kardinya Primary School uses Connect to communicate all important information to parents and carers (like student school reports and notices from administration or your child’s teacher). It is essential that all parents and carers utilise Connect.
Connect is an integrated online environment developed by the Department of Education WA for students, parents and staff in public schools.
Connect is free and because it is provided by the Department of Education, is very safe.
As well as being able to login to Connect on any internet-enabled device, you may also receive notices from Connect that will be sent to you as either an email or a notification on your phone. A free app called Connect Now can be downloaded from Google Play or the Apple App Store and will let you receive Connect notices as push notifications.
When your child enrols at Kardinya Primary School, you will receive your own secure login to Connect, with a link to set your own password. It is important you activate this password as soon as possible.

Enter your username and password.
For parents the username is a computer-generated number commencing with a P for parent eg P3498444.
